Mr Julian Lauten-Weiss

Biography

Julian Lauten-Weiss studied Business and Economics (B.A.) at the International School of Management in Cologne with a stay abroad at the Sapienza University in Rome. He then studied Entrepreneurship and Innovation (M.Sc.) at the University of Wuppertal. During his M.Sc. studies, he spent one semester in Taiwan and worked as a research assistant in the Circular Economy Department of the Wuppertal Institute. These experiences were instrumental for his thesis "Devising a Circular Business Model Framework Using the Design Research Methodology" in the field of Technology and Innovation Management and also for his startup in the field of sustainability software and consulting.

Since December 2021, Julian Lauten-Weiss is doing his PhD at the Jackstadt Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research and is also involved as an expert at the German Institute for Standardization (DIN) for the development of ISO standards for the Circular Economy.
